Cocktail Reception

B SIDE CHARDONNAY
North Coast, California

“The B Side Chardonnay is a brilliant, light gold color in the glass which exudes layers of fresh aromas; Honeycrisp apple, pear, lemon crème and toasted brioche bread. The aromas ring true on the lush palate with flavors of vanilla flan, toasted almond paste and honey notes which linger through to the persistent and crisp finish. The wine is well-balanced with ripe fruit character, spice and an undeniable streak of mineral and lime accented acidity with a beautiful creamy texture.”

B SIDE PINOT NOIR
North Coast, California

“The B Side Pinot Noir is a brilliant ruby red in the glass with the slightest blood orange hued edge. This is a soul-filled Pinot Noir with lifted aromas of raspberry, rose petal, cherry cola and black tea. Further spiced with notes of clove and fresh forest, the aromas lead to a full-bodied, richly textured palate with layered flavors of black cherry, violets, spice and smoke. With each additional swirl of the glass, the wine becomes moodier with hints of dried orange peel, tart plum, sage and lavender adding complexity. ”

Salad Course

CHÂTEAU MIRAVAL ROSÉ

Airy and balanced, it delicately combines great freshness and complexity, and develops saline and mineral notes. Its long and intense finish is the signature of a rosé with incomparable elegance.”

2018 BELLE GLOS PINOT NOIR BLANC
Sonoma County, California

“An abundance of fruit aromas carries through to a fresh, seductive palate where flavors of pink grapefruit, ripe strawberry, watermelon and lemon rind are rounded out by an opulent and dairy-laden core. Gentle notes of fresh peach and white pepper add character. While the bright qualities of this delicate pink and copper hued wine approach flinty minerality, there are also rich fruit notes to balance out the firm acidity. This rosé boasts a long, satisfying finish.”

Entrée

ZUCCARDI MALBEC SERIES A
Mendoza, Argentina

“A bold purple color and black-fruit aromas form the opening of this saturated Malbec. A high-energy palate is driven by acidity, while this is full of ripe blackberry flavors. Mild heat accompanies a grip of tannins on the finish.”

2016 QUILT NAPA VALLEY CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Napa Valley, California

“Aromas of crème de cassis, hazelnut, cocoa, blackberry preserves, charred meat, and blackberry pie along with hints of dark licorice, stewed rhubarb, strawberry, and spice blend seamlessly. A rich and satisfying palate with chocolate brownie, yogurt, molasses, brown sugar and rhubarb notes presented in perfect balance with higher-toned fruit emphasis. The wine’s weight is first felt on the front of the palate but then coats the entire mouth with placating tannin and a light, pleasing grittiness. This weight, ideally counterpoised alongside the acid, leaves the mouth watering. Great persistence on the finish.”

Location: Lane 6, Aisle B
