At Molly’s Spirits, Denver’s premiere private label distributor, we’re all about the best. The best wine, the best beer, and of course the best spirits. That’s why we participate in private barrel selection programs from, you guessed it, some of the best spirit producers in the country. Here are some amazing private label beer labels we’ve been able to collaborate on so far:

    • Molly’s Magdalena – Sold Out

      Barrel aged version of a Diebolt Brewing taproom favorite; This beauty spent five months in bourbon soaked oak. While a heavy hand with simcoe hops and the addition of grapefruit peel in the barrel brings out robust tropical fruit notes, a higher finishing gravity lends a caramelly biscuit malt sweetness before a dry bitterness takes over.       Aged in our private George Dickel Barrel, Odd13 Brewing and Molly’s teamed up to bring you a Biere De Garde unlike any other. It’s only available in-store at Molly’s, and Odd 13’s tap room so come get a taste while you can!

      We’ve teamed up with our friends at Big Choice Brewing to bring a new rotating sour beer series! We’re combining forces to release an exciting new brew creation every month or so for those who just can’t get enough delicious local sours. Members of our Molly’s team will help collaborate on the recipe for each batch and their names will be featured on the cans.

      Volume One of our series is a Sour Brown Ale with vanilla, oranges, and cranberries. It is complex, balanced tartness, and quite approachable. Subtle chocolate malt notes complimented with a light vanilla finish which blends seamlessly with a balanced sour profile that is accented by tart cranberry notes. Pairs excellent with chocolate cake, fruit tarts, gorgonzola, beef tenderloin, or a hike on the trail. You’ll only find these 6 packs at Molly’s – grab yours for $9.49

    • Molly’s Prickly Pear Cider Volume 1 Produced by Snow Capped Cider – Sold Out

      This authentic top shelf cider was made exclusively for Molly’s from bitter sharp and bitter sweet Cider apples grown in Colorado by Snow Capped Cider! It was aged 12 months and infused with prickly pear cactus then aged 6 months in a tequila barrel.

    • Good Golly Miss Molly Collaboration with Mockery Brewing Co. – Sold Out

      How do you turn a boring Brown Ale into something legendary? You add sweet cherries, cocoa nibs and toss it into a Knob Creek Bourbon Barrel. This beer delivers a woody character at the front that slowly gives way to a fruity, soft tartness finish. Just imagine tasting a bourbon soaked cherry that is dipped in delicious dark chocolate with a kiss of tartness. That’s what ‘Good Golly Miss Molly’ tastes like!

      Aged in an El Mayor Tequila barrel, this bière de mars has a malty backbone with smooth layers of complexity. You’ll get hints of vanilla and agave from the barrel.

      This single barrel dark sour ale was aged in Laws Four Grain Whiskey Barrels. A demonic dark sour, Nightmare on Brett takes on many facets during its transformation to the sour side. Dominated by dark fruit aromas and flavors, the underlying cacao notes meld with an acidic tart berry finish.

      Inspired by its cocktail namesake, this Belgian Golden Strong aged in Laws Secale Rye Whiskey barrels and infused with all natural cherries is a delightfully delicate and intricate blend of light sweetness, crisp malt, subtle oak, and glorious rye whiskey flavors.

      Molly’s Tarts & Crafts Volume 3 has arrived!! Volume 3 is sweet and fruity on the nose with a lot of pineapple. The flavor that comes through is light and tart, but not overwhelming. It’s a great mixture of pineapple and mango that blend together to give you a nice, refreshing jolt of tartness.

    • Awaken the Intellect Bourbon Barrel Aged Cream Ale by Fiction Beer Company – Sold Out

      Awaken the Intellect started as an experiment with bourbon barrel aged coffee beans roasted and cold brewed by Copper Door Coffee. The result was a unique and flavorful coffee beer. For the Molly’s collaboration, Fiction took their coffee beer and added it to a special barrel of Buffalo Trace Bourbon. To blend the coffee and bourbon flavors as they intensified, Fiction added cocoa nibs and Madagascar vanilla. The vanilla melds with the bourbon from the barrel and from the coffee in the base beer, bringing forth complex aromas and flavors unable to be attained on their own. The chocolate draws out rich coffee character that pairs perfectly with bourbon. An easy drinking beer with complex layers of flavor and aromas that are rarely found in a beer so light in color or alcohol.

    • Cinnamon Horchata Clan Warrior – a Bourbon Barrel Aged Wee Heavy Ale with Vanilla by Odyssey Beerwerks – Sold Out

      Rich caramel, malt and traditional spices blend together in Odyssey’s Horchata Spice Clan Warrior. After several month spent aging in Buffalo Trace whiskey barrels, this smoky Scotch Ale is transformed into an inspired take on horchata. Whole cinnamon and vanilla blend together with the sweet bourbon and coconut flavors to create a delicious homage to a wonderful Mexican classic.

    • I Can’t Believe It’s Butter – an Imperial Pastry Stout with Coconut and Butter Extract by New Image Brewing – Sold Out

      You would never think of making a pastry without butter right? Well, that’s the thought process that led us to make this Samoa Cookie inspired pastry stout with coconut, vanilla, chocolate, lactose and, last but not least, real butter! The base beer is already packed with chocolate and caramel while the adjuncts bring on the sweet coconut and rich, smooth, oh’ lawdy have mercy delicious butter. Call up ya grandma and the Girl Scouts, we’re ready to go toe to toe.

    • Molly’s Sip of Colorado by Aspen Brewing Company

      Molly’s Sip of Colorado celebrates the beauty of Colorado from grain to glass. At 4.56 percent ABV, this crisp and refreshing beer has a subtle and sweet malt backbone that is complemented by notes of floral, pine and mountain fruit from the combination of Palisade and Chinook hops. Molly’s Sip of Colorado is only $5.99/6pk. “It’s sessionable and affordable enough that it’s a superb choice for any Colorado occasion.”

    • Better Together by New Image Brewing

      Better Together is an exploration of the hazy New England Style IPA. The collaboration beer utilizes the base beer from New Image’s flagship IPA, Coriolis Effect, but the individual hop varietals were chosen from some of the brewery’s most popular variants, which include Citra and Mosaic. At 6.5 percent ABV, Better Together is a juicy, citrus-forward beer with bright, floral and tropical notes. The result is a refreshingly smooth IPA that is best enjoyed fresh under the Colorado sun. Plus $1 for every case sold will go to the Jefferson Center for Mental Health.

    • Honey Hatch Whiskey Barrel Aged Rocky Mtn Saison by 14er Brewing

      14er Brewing took their 2016 GABF Gold Metal Winning Rocky Mtn Saison brewed with jalapeno, cilantro, and lime and aged it for 7 months in Blank and Booth Distilling’s Honey Hatch Green Chili Whiskey barrel. This collab blends a bold, boozy, hatch, and honey flavor with a touch of bourbon oak all melding with the complexities of the Rocky Mtn Saison. Find in our bomber room!

    • Elijah Lux by Paradox Beer Company

      Elijah Lux is a wild sour ale aged in a single Elijah Craig Bourbon barrel with Luxardo Cherries and Tangerines. Find in Lane 17 in our Sour Beers Section. Only 360 bottles were made – get it while you can!

    • Proceed in Good Faith: A Barrel-Aged Blended Sour with Mango by New Image Brewing

      New Image aged their kombucha-inspired ale (Dyad) in our Laws Whiskey barrel for 20 months, then blended it with fresh Dyad and mangoes! A risky undertaking, but they decided to Proceed in Good Faith. And name it that.
