Free Weekly Wine Tasting
July 28, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Four French rosés are battling it out at the tasting bar this Friday! Which one will be your favorite?!
L’Ostal Cazes Rosé, Languedoc 2016
Very pale, clear and delicate pink in hue. The highly complex and delicate nose offers a subtle combination of rose petals and pomegranate. On the palate, the attack is supple, light and fresh. The finish offers a pleasant touch of sweetness and lingering aromas of fresh pomegranate.
Château d’Astros Côtes de Provence Rosé 2016
“This smooth ripe wine is packed with red fruits and a generous texture. There is a caramel edge to this rich wine with its spice as well as acidity. It comes from an ancient estate whose origins go back to medieval times. This is a wine to savor with food. Drink now.” – 91 Points Wine Enthusiast
Dom Grand Veneur Rosé, Côtes du Rhône 2016
Salmon-pink color, clear and brilliant. The nose is fruity and spicy, reminiscent of wild strawberry and fine Provencal spices. The palate is full, well-balanced and fruity, with a long, fresh finish. A beautiful and delicate rosé which is a great example from the Rhone.
Brumont La Gascogne d’Alain Brumont Rosé, Gascony 2016
Was $ 14.98
A real gastronomic rosé, rose petal color and a surprising generosity and fullness on the attack: well-rounded with lots of ripe fruit. Very fresh finish with lovely mouthfeel.
