Hot Mentha Mess
If you like Mexican hot chocolate – this cocktail is for you! This alcoholic Mexican hot chocolate cocktail combines bourbon with cocoa goodness, a kick of cayenne, and minty Brancamenta. Thanks to Erin Sullivan, head bartender at The Third Man, for creating the PERFECT snow day cocktail!
- Stir spoon
|Hot chocolate (powdered cocoa mixed with equal parts water & sweetened condensed milk)||6 ounces|
|Brancamenta||1.5 ounces (1 shot)|
|Bourbon||1.5 ounces (1 shot)|
|Mint sprig||1 for garnish|
|Marshmallows||1 - 10 for garnish|
Heat up powdered cocoa mixed with equal parts water and condensed milk and 2 pinches of cayenne. Pour into mug. Add the Brancamenta and bourbon. Garnish with the mint sprig and sprinkle with cayenne. Throw in as many marshmallows as you’d like and enjoy!
