Strawberry, Mint & Cucumber Martini

Mon, Dec 12, 22  |  recipes
A delicious and refreshing summertime cocktail can be made entirely with seasonal fresh fruit and your favorite vodka or gin. This strawberry and cucumber mint martini recipe calls for using Hendricks gin because it is distilled with cucumber – as well as rose – so the fruits in the recipe pair very well with the gin. Our strawberry, mint and cucumber martini recipe serves one.

Strawberry mint cocktail supplies:

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Jigger
  • Martini glass (chilled)
  • Stirring spoon (optional)
  • Ice

Preparation:

  1. In the bottom of a cocktail shaker, muddle limes first then add strawberries, mint, cucumber and either the simple syrup or a splash of the spirit – then muddle all ingredients together.
  2. Add ice and remaining spirit and simple syrup and shake until mixed and chilled to your satisfaction.
  3. Strain into a chilled martini glass or in a cocktail glass filled with ice. Garnish and enjoy.

A Twist:

If you don’t have fresh cucumbers you can use cucumber flavored vodka as a substitute. While Hendricks is a natural choice because of it is distilled with cucumbers you can use any gin of your liking.

Simple Syrup Recipe:

Simple syrup is mixing equal parts of sugar and hot water. To make: heat a cup of water until almost boiling, then add a cup of sugar and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved in the water. This cucumber martini recipe is inspired by Something New For Dinner
